Meet in Mendocino

The Retreat

Join Aubrey Romero, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and wilderness guide, and Jenn Nelson, 200-hour certified yoga instructor, sound healer, and Reiki practitioner, for a four-day immersion retreat designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Set in a serene coastal woodland where the forest meets the sea, this retreat blends yoga, Reiki, sound healing, and the revitalizing ritual of a sunrise beach sauna and ocean plunge. This retreat invites you to ground deeply, awaken your senses, and reconnect with your inner glow.

  • Each day flows with a balance of energizing morning practices and grounding evening sessions. Mornings awaken the body and focus the mind with dynamic all-levels vinyasa, while afternoons and evenings invite slower movement, restorative postures, and guided meditation. Blending breath, mindful movement, and moments of stillness, these practices create space to release tension, restore balance, and leave you feeling centered and renewed

  • Begin your day with the warmth of a cozy sauna set up directly on Big River Beach. At the confluence of Big River and the Pacific Ocean, you are just steps away from a refreshing cold plunge. This revitalizing ritual will awaken your body, clear your mind and ignite your inner glow

  • Step into the cozy colorful Sanctuary, where rich acoustics wrap around you creating the perfect space for deep restoration. You'll be guided through a soothing blend of Reiki energy healing and immersive sound healing as crystal bowls, chimes, and gongs release tension, calm the mind, and invite renewal

  • Deepen your practice beyond the mat with guided yoga philosophy talks and Vipassana meditation sessions. These offerings explore mindful living, self-awareness, and the integration of yogic principles into daily life. Whether learning ancient wisdom or sitting in stillness, each session is an invitation to connect inward, quiet the mind, and awaken clarity.

  • Stay in cozy heated cabins or glamping tents at Spirit Camp, a redwood sanctuary on the Mendocino coast. All cabins feature oakwood floors, redwood furnishings, and soft linen bedding, with recently renovated shared bathrooms just steps away. This includes two full baths with two showers and two toilets each, plus a half bath on the lower level of the water tower. Communal spaces like the skylit Lodge, colorful Sanctuary, sunny meadows, and winding forest trails invite connection, reflection, and play.

  • Nourish your body with fresh, seasonal meals from Simone’s Kitchen. These organic, vibrant, wholesome dishes are crafted to fuel your practice and uplift your spirit. Each meal is prepared with care, using quality ingredients to create colorful, satisfying plates that support your energy and well-being throughout the retreat.
